Turfing, Cambridge, Newmarket and Ely

At AMS Building and Landscaping of Cambridge and Newmarket we understand a lawn has a variety of uses for different people. Whether it is to impress your friends and family or just as a soft clean area for children to play on. We can guide you and give you the right advice to make this come true.

If your garden is overgrown, as in some of our example pictures, we can clear the site and give you a whole new fresh start. We would start by clearing the garden of all waste debris and disposing of it.

Then if the soil needs improving we would rotorvate in recycled soil improver, which is used for both domestic and commercial gardens, and by farmers. Topsoil would then be added before the turf is laid to give a good soft bed for growing. (Please note all this preparation is not always needed before laying turf, it depends on the quality of your original soil.)

All turf we use is cut fresh from the field on the same day as it is laid for maximum freshness and to give your lawn the best start.
